On Monday the Court granted two new cases. Lyle reported on Monday’s orders for the blog.
On Tuesday, the Court issued opinions in two argued cases: Clapper v. Amnesty International U.S. and Marx v. General Revenue Corp.
On Wednesday, the Court opinions in Gabelli v. SEC and Amgen Inc. v. Connecticut Retirement Plans and Trust Funds.
Following opinions, the Justices heard oral argument in Shelby County v. Holder, involving the constitutionality of Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act.
