Garre nominated for SG

President Bush on Thursday sent to the Senate the nomination of Gregory G. Garre, deputy U.S. Solicitor General, to be Solicitor General.  If the Senate approves, Garre would succeed Paul D. Clement, who left the post earlier this month.
