This week at the court

The Supreme Court released orders from the October 26 conference on Monday; the justices called for the views of the U.S. solicitor general in Swartz v. Rodriguez and Ariosa Diagnostics Inc. v. Illumina Inc.

On Monday, the justices heard oral argument in Henry Schein Inc. v. Archer and White Sales Inc. and Lamps Plus Inc. v. Varela.

On Tuesday, the justices heard oral argument in Washington State Department of Licensing v. Cougar Den Inc. and Garza v. Idaho.

On Wednesday, the justices heard oral argument in Frank v. Gaos and Jam v. International Finance Corp.

On Friday, the justices met for their November 2 conference; that afternoon, the justices ordered reargument in Knick v. Scott and granted Smith v. BerryhillGray v. WilkieMont v. U.S.Flowers v. Mississippi and American Legion v. American Humanist Association, consolidated with Maryland-National Capital Park v. American Humanist Association.
