Charles Davis recently joined the firm after completing clerkships for the Honorable Karen L. Henderson of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and the Honorable Kathleen M. O’Malley of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Before his clerkships, Charles was an associate at Covington and Burling, where he assisted with patent litigations, Federal Circuit appeals and FDA matters.
Charles graduated first in his class at the George Washington University Law School. At GW, he served as editor-in-chief of the George Washington Law Review. Prior to law school, Charles received a Ph.D. in Biophysics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Charles’s doctoral research involved the molecular mechanisms underlying the earliest stages of Alzheimer’s Disease and was funded by a National Institute of Health Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award Individual Fellowship.
