ABA rates Kagan “well qualified”

A committee of the American Bar Association that routinely evaluates federal judicial nominees today released its rating of Elena Kagan: “well qualified” by unanimous vote (with one abstention). The ABA’s website briefly explains the committee’s rating system, which includes just three possible ratings: “well qualified,” “qualified,” or “not qualified.” The full list of nominees rated during the 111th (current) Congress is here.
