Podcast: Nina Totenberg on Brown v. Board of Education

For SCOTUSblog’s Race and the Supreme Court program, our publisher Tom Goldstein interviewed Nina Totenberg, National Public Radio’s Supreme Court correspondent, about the three-part series she recorded for NPR in 2003 on Brown v. Board of Education.  In the series, which marks the fiftieth anniversary of the ruling, Totenberg narrates the story of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund lawyers who argued the case and their strategy and the Justices and their deliberations.  All three pieces are available here on the NPR website, along with images of the original decision and the implementation order.  The introductory podcast is linked below.
