At 10 a.m., the Court will hear oral argument in Stolt-Nielsen S.A. v. AnimalFeeds International Corp. (08-1198), which raises whether the Federal Arbitration Act permits arbitrators to impose class arbitration on parties whose arbitration agreements are silent on that subject. Stanford law school student Vivian Wang previewed the case yesterday for SCOTUSblog.
No opinions or non-capital orders are expected from the Court today.
