Holding: Medicaid providers do not have a cause of action to challenge a state"s reimbursement rates.
Judgment: Reversed, 5-4, in an opinion by Justice Scalia on March 31, 2015. Chief Justice Roberts, and Justices Thomas, Breyer, and Alito join the opinion as to Parts I, II, and III. Chief Justice Roberts and Justices Thomas and Alito also join as to Part IV. Justice Breyer filed an opinion concurring in part and concurring in the judgement. Justice Sotomayor filed a dissenting opinion, in which Justices Kennedy, Ginsburg, and Kagan joined.
