Justices allow Texas’ execution of Travis Runnels to go forward

The Supreme Court this evening refused to block the execution of Travis Runnels, who was sentenced to death for the 2003 prison murder of Stanley Riley. Texas was scheduled to execute Runnels at 6 pm CT.
