Event announcement

Tomorrow evening the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law will host a panel discussion on the civil rights cases from the recently concluded October Term 2012 and their impact. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the offices of Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP in Washington, D.C. with a reception and remarks by Barbara Arnwine, the president and executive director of the Lawyers Committee, and Michelle Bernard, the author of Moving America Toward Justice. MSNBCs Ari Melber will moderate the panel, which will also include Jon Greenbaum of the Lawyers Committee, Spencer Overton of The George Washington University Law School, and David Savage of the Los Angeles Times.
