The Senate Judiciary Committee has scheduled the confirmation hearings for the week of June 28. That allows the hearing to conclude in all likelihood before the July 4 recess, allowing a floor vote easily before the summer recess. It will be interesting to see how the Committee calibrates the hearing schedule with the last week of the Court’s Term, which I discuss in this post.
