Here is a website devoted to Gonzales v. O Centro Espirita Beneficente UniĂ£o do Vegetal. At issue in the case is whether or not the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993 protects the Centro Espirita Beneficente Uniao Do Vegetal’s practice of using hoasca, a psychotropic substance, in a sacrament central to the religion.
