Second Clinic Case Decided

The Court’s decision today in the Rousey bankruptcy case is the second case of the Stanford Supreme Court Litigation Clinic decided within the last week. The Clinic prevailed 9-0 in Rousey. Pam Karlan argued. The Stanford students working on the case were Eric Feigin, Mara Silver and David Sapp. At the cert. stage, the students were Eric, David Cooper, and Nicola Mrazek. Over the summer, Allon Kedem and Steven Wu of Yale worked on the case with us. Last Wednesday, the Court ruled 5-3 in favor of the Clinic’s argument that the ADEA recognizes disparate impact claims.
