Making Time Fly

Apparently not content with assuming the mantle of supreme expositor of constitutional meaning, cf. City of Boerne v. Flores, 521 U.S. at 536; U.S. v. Morrison, 529 U.S. at 616 n.7, the Court yesterday decided to try its hand at revising the Gregorian Calendar. What was that about infallible because final (see Brown v. Allen, 344 U.S. at 540 (Jackson, J., concurrng in the result)? ;-) The fate of Leap Day presumably must await a further case, in the October 2007 Term at the earliest.
