Pantle v. United States

(1) Whether a clearly erroneous increase in a defendant"s sentencing range under the United States Sentencing Guidelines constitutes reversible plain error; (2) whether, alternatively, such an error gives rise to a presumption of plain error that may only be overcome by clear evidence that the district court would inevitably have imposed the same sentence.
