Holding

State antitrust law claims are allowed to proceed against gas pipelines for alleged manipulation of market price indices, notwithstanding federal regulation of pipelines under the Natural Gas Act.

Judgment

Affirmed, 7-2, in an opinion by Stephen G. Breyer on Apr 21, 2015. Justice Thomas filed an opinion concurring in part and concurring in the judgement. Justice Scalia filed a dissenting opinion, in which Chief Justice Roberts joined.
