Medicaid’s any-qualified-provider provision does not clearly and unambiguously confer a private right upon a Medicaid beneficiary to choose a specific provider.

Reversed and remanded, 6-3, in an opinion by Neil Gorsuch on Jun 26, 2025. Justice Thomas filed a concurring opinion. Justice Jackson filed a dissenting opinion, which was joined by Justices Sotomayor and Kagan.
