Andrew Hamm,
Andrew managed SCOTUSblog from 2015 to 2019 after having served as deputy blog manager from 2013 to 2015. He handled all things petitions from 2019 to 2022, including the "Petitions of the week" feature. In 2022, Andrew graduated from the American University Washington College of Law, winning the Gillett Prize as the student in the graduating class with the highest scholastic course average. He is a 2012 graduate of Harvard University, where he studied archaeology and government. Andrew also has an M.A. in writing from Johns Hopkins University. He has written legal scholarship for the Criminal Law Bulletin and the Texas Journal on Civil Liberties and Civil Rights and legal journalism for SCOTUSblog and The Crime Report.
