At 10 a.m., the Court will hear oral argument in Stolt-Nielsen S.A. v. AnimalFeeds International Corp. (08-1198), which raises whether the Federal Arbitration Act permits arbitrators to impose class arbitration on parties whose arbitration agreements are silent on that subject. Â Stanford law school student Vivian Wang previewed the case yesterday for SCOTUSblog.
No opinions or non-capital orders are expected from the Court today.
