Monday round-up

It’s not quite yet December, but the Supreme Court opens its December argument sitting on Monday morning with oral arguments in a pair of cases with broad ramifications: Trump v. New. York, the challenge to President Donald Trump’s plan to exclude people living in the country without authorization from the population totals used to reapportion congressional seats among the states; and Van Buren v. United States, the first time the court will weigh in on the wide range of digital conduct that is potentially criminalized under a federal anti-hacking law known as the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. Our preview of Trump v. New York is here (and a symposium featuring authors on both sides is here). Our preview of Van Buren is here.
