Sanchez Valle (which Lyle Denniston covered for this blog) has “made waves far beyond, eliciting a media maelstrom in Puerto Rico, impassioned responses from officials and even an appeal to the U.N.”
• In the National Review, Roger Clegg responds to Linda Greenhouse’s question, posed in her column in The New York Times on Fisher v. University of Texas at Austin, on what the rationale for diversity is.
• The Citizen’s Guide to the Supreme Court discusses Foster v. Chatman and reads emails “from people within the criminal justice system about how effective the Court is at resolving racial discrimination in the selection of a jury.”
