The Court has granted one new case, Jennings v. Stephens, in which it will consider when a habeas petitioner must seek a certificate of appealability to challenge a part of a lower court ruling on which he lost.
The Court also called for the views of the Solicitor General in two cases, Moores v. Hildes and Tribble v. Edison International (No. 13-550).
