The Week Ahead

No oral arguments are scheduled and no merits briefs are due this week. Oral arguments will resume April 20. For the April sitting calendar, click here.  (Note that, since the calendar was posted, the case of Al-Marri v. Spagone, 08-368, scheduled for argument the afternoon of April 27, has been dismissed.)

On Monday,  the Court will release the remaining orders from the Justices’ private conference last Friday and may release the opinion in one or more pending cases. We will provide coverage of any developments.
