Kagan officially becomes S.G.

Former Harvard law dean Elena Kagan was officially sworn into office as U.S. Solicitor General on Friday.  Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr., administered the oath in his chambers at the Supreme Court.  A Justice Department news release is here.
