Announcement on Second Amendment case

Top officials of the local government in Washington, D.C., have scheduled an announcement at 11 a.m. Monday on their decision about whether to appeal to the Supreme Court in a major test case on the meaning of the Constitution’s Second Amendment. Mayor Fenty to Announce Future of Parker Gun Case
Mayor Adrian M. Fenty and Attorney General Linda Singer will announce the District’s next move following the 2-1 decision of the D.C. Circuit’s Decision in Parker v. District of Columbia, the challenge to the District of Columbia’s handgun laws.
