Amici support for detainees

Human rights groups, lawyers who handle habeas cases and public defenders have joined in the D.C Circuit Court’s new review of the meaning of the new law on the rights of war-on-terrorism detainees — the Military Commissions Act. The two briefs in support of the Guantanamo Bay detainees’ challenges to the Act can be found here and here.
