Temple University law professor Craig Green will be publishing, in the forthcoming Volume 84 of the Washington University Law Review, an article titled “Wiley Rutledge, Executive Detention, and Judicial Conscience at War.” Professor Green suggests in the article some parallels between the World War II-era work of Justice Rutledge and the war-on-terrorism cases now coming before the Supreme Court, including the soon-to-be-decided Hamdan v. Rumsfeld
