Court in session Monday

The federal government’s executive branch is shutting down on Monday because of threatened bad weather from Hurricane Sandy, but the Supreme Court plans — as of late Sunday night — to go ahead with its schedule of oral arguments.   Orders in pending cases will be released at 9:30 a.m., and the Court will begin arguments as scheduled at 10 a.m., it is understood.  If there is any change, the blog will post it.
