Online symposium: The Supreme Court and the election

SCOTUSblog is pleased to announce the latest in its summer series of online symposia:  a symposium on the role that the Supreme Court is likely to play in the upcoming presidential election.  Our contributors will address — among other things — whether and how President Obama and Governor Romney and their respective campaigns may try to make the Court a campaign issue , as well as the role that recent decisions like Citizens United v. FEC and NFIB v. Sebelius will play in the election process.

Our scheduled contributors include:

  • Nan Aron – President of Alliance for Justice Action Campaign
  • Clint Bolick – Goldwater Institute
  • Walter Dellinger – O’Melveny & Myers
  • Chris Gober – Gober Hilgers
  • Neil Kinkopf – Georgia State University College of Law
  • Gordon Todd – Sidley Austin
