Wednesday round-up

Briefly:
- In Slate, Dahlia Lithwick looks at “feeder judges” – the judges on the federal courts of appeals who frequently send their law clerks to clerk at the Supreme Court. A recent article, she reports, concluded that, “from 1970 to 1994, women were actually overrepresented as feeder judges,” but the percentage of women as feeder judges dropped significantly after that.
- At his Election Law Blog, Rick Hasen has an excerpt from his article on election law cases at the Court in the upcoming Term.
If you have or know of a recent (published in the last two or three days) article, post, or op-ed relating to the Court that you’d like us to consider for inclusion in the round-up, please send it to roundup [at] scotusblog.com.
