8 a.m. Announcement

We had heard last night — but on a condition that we not publish it — that the President would announce the nominee at 8 a.m. and CNN (via How Appealing) is now confirming that.

Our coverage will be a bit thin for a while. I’m arguing the first case today. Everyone else will be down at the Court. But we’ll do our very best.
