This week at the court

The court issued additional orders from the December 9 conference on Monday. The court did not grant any new cases or call for the views of the solicitor general in any cases. The court also released its opinion in Shaw v. United States. On Wednesday, the court granted four new cases, two of which are consolidated. The justices will meet for their next conference on January 6. The calendar for the January sitting, which will begin on Monday, January 9, is available on the court’s website.
