As Tony Mauro reports for The BLT, legal writing guru Bryan Garner has recently published the full transcripts of his interviews on writing and advocacy with seven sitting Justices (the Chief Justice and Justices Kennedy, Scalia, Thomas, Ginsburg, Breyer, and Alito) and now-retired Justice John Paul Stevens.  The Justices weigh in on topics such as the uses of “that” and “which” (the Chief Justice prefers “that”) and the use of nouns as verbs (Justice Kennedy:  “impact” is not a verb).
