Ledbetter Petitioner’s Brief

Today, Kevin Russell of Howe & Russell filed this petitioner’s brief in the case of Ledbetter v. Goodyear Tire and Rubber (the joint appendix can be downloaded here). Kevin is counsel of record, and others on the brief include Amy Howe, his partner at Howe & Russell; Pam Karlan and Jeff Fisher of the Stanford Law School Supreme Court Litigation Clinic; and Robert Wiggins, Jr. and Jon Goldfarb of the firm Wiggins, Childs, Quinn & Pantzias.
The respondent’s brief on the merits will be submitted by October 23. The oral argument date has not yet been set, but the case will almost certainly be heard in December.
It should be noted that neither Tom Goldstein nor anyone else at Akin Gump had any part in the writing of this brief.
