Transcripts in Ten Commandments Cases

The Associated Press has posted earlier-than usual transcripts of Wednesday’s oral arguments in the Texas Ten Commandments case and in the companion Kentucky case.

UPDATE: In the transcript of the Texas case, the questioner identified on line 21 of page 8 as “UNKNOWN SPEAKER” is Justice Antonin Scalia. His comments there are a continuation of remarks that begin on line 13 of that page.

And, in the transcript of the Kentucky case, the questioner on page 31, beginning at line 9, is mis-identified as JUSTICE STEVENS. The questioner actually was Justice Stephen Breyer.
