This week at the Court

At 10:00 a.m. Eastern on Monday, the Justices will release orders from its January 7 Conference. (Our list of “Petitions to Watch†for that Conference is here.) The orders list is here.
At 10:00 a.m. Eastern on Tuesday, the Court is expected to hand down at least one decision (though it may simply be a notation that the judgment in a case is affirmed by an equally divided Court). We will be covering Tuesday’s opinions in a live-blog.
Also this week, the Court will begin to hear arguments for its January sitting; we have begun posting argument previews.
On Monday, the Court will hear Matrixx Initiatives v. Siracusano (09-1156) and MT v. WY and N.D. (137 Original).
On Tuesday, the Court will hear Goodyear Lux. Tires, SA v. Brown (10-76) and J. McIntyre Machinery v. Nicastro (09-1343).
On Wednesday, the Court will hear Sykes v. US (09-11311) and Kentucky v. King (09-115).
On Friday, the Justices are scheduled to meet for their January 14 Conference.
