First transcripts available
The first same-day release of the written transcript of a Supreme Court argument is now available, at this link. It is in the consolidated cases 05-547, Lopez v. Gonzalez, and 05-7664, Toledo-Flores v. U.S. The transcript was posted at 2:15 p.m., three hours and 15 minutes after the conclusion of the hearing.
UPDATE: The second transcript, in 05-493, Ayers v. Belmontes, was posted at about 3:30 p.m., about three and a half hours after the hearing had ended. It can be found here.

I appreciate your posting of the Transcript of the Oral arguments but I wish that you had/could also post the audio of the Oral arguments perhaps as a podcast.
I assume that the audios are not being released by the court at this time, and I hope that you will continue to apply as much pressure as you can, if you agree, to get the audio released A.S.A.P.
Of course: I would also like the Video of the Lawyers also available, but I understand that is not going to happen soon, but I don’t understand the reluctance to posting the audio as it should be less difficult to create than the transcipts, and no more “intrusive” than the transcripts.
Seconderly, I’d like a Table of contents giving a summary of the cases that they have accepted, and links to longer summaries (perhaps from othe sites), the Transcripts, the Audio, and the Results as they become availabe. As I understand it this is a ~38 item list and thus may well not be difficult and would help us to then look/listen to the material on a specific case.
Thanks for what you are doing…
