Opinions Next Week

Updating my earlier post, the Court is going to issue opinions next Monday and next Thursday.

  1. It is a given that the Court will meet on Monday, the 27th? Just wondering when the last day will be…

    TG responds: It is now a given as a practical matter. It is theoretically possible for the Court to add next Friday as an opinion day and finish off the term, but it would be such a dramatic break from past practice (in an institution that is very much based on tradition) that you can count on it not happening. Odds are that they will issue opinions on the 27th and one other day, although the latter is less certain.
