Bottom side brief filed in voting rights case
Earlier today, Professors Pam Karlan and Jeff Fisher of the Stanford Supreme Court Litigation Clinic filed this brief on behalf of the appelless in Riley v. Kennedy (07-77), a case asking whether a voting-related Alabama judicial decision must receive Justice Department preclearance before going into effect. Assisting in the filing, along with Tom, Amy and Kevin, were trial attorneys Ed Still, Sam Heldman, and Cecil Gardner, and Stanford students Alan Bakowski, Thomas Haymore, and Erica Ross.

Vance McCrary was also on the trial team.
