		<description>At http://looking-around.blogspot.com/2005/10/interesting-theory-implicit-in-alitos.html, I raise a question to which I&#039;d love informed answers:  when interpreting language in a USSC opinion, is it appropriate to consult numerous other opinions by that opinion&#039;s author, including dissenting opinions -- as opposed to subsequent USSC majority or plurality opinions?  That&#039;s what Judge Alito appears to do in his Casey v. Planned Parenthood dissent:  he tracks Justice O&#039;Connor&#039;s use of the phrase &quot;undue burden&quot; through various opinions.  I&#039;d especially appreciate answers to this in Comments on my original post....
