I’m relatively new to this blog, so don’t know if you’ve done this before. It reminded me of nothing so much as a slot machine (or poker machine, as they’re called here in Australia). Obviously, you hit the jackpot with the CJ!

The greyed out pictures seem to be spelling out “iX”. Maybe it’s the ghost of Title IX?
