Not because I want the Chief to retire, particularly, nor because I enjoy the prospect of the two-headed nomination battle for political or personal reasons (I don’t), but only because, Florida-2k-like, I had made a prediction based on rumors from utterly unreliable sources and sort of hoped my foundation-free statement of certainty would turn out in fact to be true.
