		<description>For those believing that politics should have no bearing on SCOTUS decisions, this is a no-brainer.  Obviously, a conservative Court could feel differently.  That&#039;s doubtful since they&#039;ve certainly proven that politics does enter their decisions after giving G. W. Bush the Oval Office.

Justice Karmeier&#039;s vote in the case is also just as obvious.   IL already has a bad reputation.  This just adds to it.

		<description>Great issue!  I can think of  a right no more fundamental than to have one&#039;s case heard before a court that is free of  conflicts of interest. This goes to the very heart of the rule of law. This issue challenges the wisdom of electing judges.
