The Court was closed on Monday in observance of Washington’s Birthday.

On Tuesday the Court issued orders from the February 17 Conference, granting two new cases and inviting the views of the Solicitor General in two others, and issued four opinions. Three more opinions were issued on Wednesday.

On Friday the Justices will meet for a private Conference. Our list of “Petitions to watch” for that Conference is here.

This Week at the Court

On Monday the Court granted four new cases and issued opinions in five cases: Arizona v. Inter Tribal Council of Arizona; Salinas v. Texas; FTC v. Actavis; Alleyne v. United States; Maracich v. Spears.

We expect opinions again on Thursday at 10 a.m. We will begin live blogging around 9:00 on Thursday.
