Today is the last day of the November sitting. The Justices will hear oral argument in two cases this morning. Tom Goldstein previewed the first case, National Meat Association v. Harris. Shon Hopwood has previewed the second case, Kurns v. Railroad Friction Products. Oral arguments are scheduled to resume on November 28, the first day of the December sitting.

This Week at the Court

On Monday the Court granted four new cases and issued opinions in five cases: Arizona v. Inter Tribal Council of Arizona; Salinas v. Texas; FTC v. Actavis; Alleyne v. United States; Maracich v. Spears.

We expect opinions again on Thursday at 10 a.m. We will begin live blogging around 9:00 on Thursday.
