This week at the Court

There are no more oral arguments scheduled for this Term.

We expect the Court to issue orders from its May 19 Conference, as well as one or more opinions, on Monday. Our list of “Petitions to Watch” for that Conference is here.  The Court has not yet decided two of its cases from the November sitting:  Brown v. Entertainment Merchants Association and Flores-Villar v. United States. And it has not yet issued an opinion in only one remaining case argued in its December sitting: Janus Capital v. First Derivative Traders..

The Justices will hold another private Conference this Thursday, May 26. Our list of “Petitions to Watch” for that Conference will be available soon. Starting this week, we also expect the Court to begin  issuing one or more opinions on Thursdays.
