The Court rejected all attempts by Georgia death row prisoner Troy Davis to further pursue his claim of innocence relating to a 1989 murder, for which he has been found guilty. The Court dismissed an appeal by Davis and refused three other requests for discretionary release. The impact of the Court’s orders is to leave in effect a federal judge’s ruling concluding that Davis is not innocent.
