LiveBlog: Senate Judiciary Committee votes on Kagan

The nineteen members of the Senate Judiciary Committee — twelve Democrats and seven Republicans — will meet this morning at 10 a.m. ET to vote on whether or not to send the nomination of Elena Kagan to the Senate floor for a vote by the entire body.  The Committee vote will likely be prefaced by statements by some of the senators.  We will provide live narration of the session and vote as they unfold.
