Yesterday we filed this cert. amicus brief on behalf of the National Association of Assistant United States Attorneys and the National District Attorneys Association in No. 08-1065, Pottawattamie County, Iowa v. Harrington. Jeffrey Sarles and Stephen Sanders of Mayer Brown filed the petition in the case, which deals with the circumstances in which prosecutors may be subject to a civil trial and potential damages for a wrongful conviction and incarceration.
