		<description>Am I correct? The real issue behind this State action centers around the projected increased costs States will incur due to the increased drug costs being passed on to the states.
Most states had negotiated well with Pharmaceutical companies to lower the state costs for their drugs under Medicaid (the Dual-eligibles). The Republican majority in Congress passes Medicare Part D which permits Pharmaceutical companies to avoid direct cost control by forbiding direct Federal government negotiation with the drug companies.
Under the current Part D, Drug companies will make out like bandits with increased profits, while the Federal taxpayers get ABUSED financially  on a large scale.
It will be interesting to see if the Court passes on this issue, especially with its 2 NEW  pro-business conservative appointees.
